Emergency Medical and Air Evacuation Insurance
VeloAsia provides supplementary medical expense, air evacuation, and 24-hour consultation assistance insurance coverage for every trip in Vietnam, at no additional charge. VeloAsia provides emergency medical and air evacuation insurence through the Global Traveler Program by SOS International. SOS operates medical clinics in Bangkok, Hanoi and Saigon. SOS International also provides air evacutaion to Singapore if deemed necessary. This insurance is cumpulsory provided at no extra charge for our Vietnam cycling tours. Please note: the SOS Global Traveler Program provides air evacaution to Singapore only and does not cover subsequent medical expenses after evacaution to Singapore. Please supplement this insurance with your own.

Insurance
In the age of SARS, terrorism alerts, frequent airline delays, as well as unpredictable weather patterns an natural disasters, we require that you are covered by trip cancellation/interruption insurance to protect your investment. This coverage will offset cancellation charges in the event of an illness before or during the trip if you need to cancel. Trip cancellation/interruption, supplemental medical, and baggage insurance is available at a supplemental, discounted cost through our provider, CSA Travel Protection. Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion
Pre-Existing Condition means an illness, disease, or other condition during the 180-day period immediately prior to the effective date, for which you, your traveling companion or family member is scheduled or booked to travel with them:

1. Has received, or has received a recommendation, for a diagnostic test, examination, or medical treatment; or
2. Took or received a prescription for drugs or medicine.

Item 2 of this definition does not apply to a condition which is treated or controlled solely through the taking of prescription drugs or medicine and remains treated or controlled without any adjustment or change in the required prescription throughout the 180-day period before coverage is effective.

CSA WebDirect® Extended Plan Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion Waiver
For an additional fee, you can purchase a waiver of pre-existing condition exclusion if:

1. Your premium for this insurance plan is received within fourteen (14) days of the date of your initial trip deposit .
2. You are not disabled from travel at the time you pay your premium;
3. The booking for the trip must be the first and only booking for this travel period and destination.
