We respect your privacy. VeloAsia does not swap, lease, sell, or transfer your personal information, including email address, to any third party or organization without your explicit permission. In some of the places we operate tours, such as Vietnam and Myanmar, local government authorities require we collect and submit personal information such as your passport number, date of birth, and other personal information in advance of your arrival. This information is used for no other purpose and not stored in any online database. For insurance that may be included in your tour, such as SOS International medical and evacuation coverage, we may be required to collect additional personal information.

We do not store or retain credit card information submitted to us. Credit card information submitted through our registration page with industry-standard Secure Sockets (SSL) encryption technology is directly transmitted to a major U.S.-based national merchant bank (Cardservice International, Inc.) who does not retain complete card information after your payment has been processed nor is this information stored on our servers at any point in the transaction. Credit card information submitted by mail or fax is never entered into our computer systems and paperwork is destroyed after charges are manually processed through our merchant bank.
